We are seeking a newly qualified CA(SA) to join our team as Management Accountant - Reporting for our client within the logistics environment. This role involves managing the preparation and analysis of group management accounts, monthly finance slides, forecasts, budgets, and year-end reporting.
This is a 6 months fixed-term contract position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load HFM and preparation of group management accounts
- Preparation of monthly finance slides
- Compiling and consolidation of forecast and budgets
- Analysis of Group Accounts
- Preparation of year-end reporting pack (including, but not limited to, interim reporting, intercompany and fixed assets)
- Review and release of bank payment
- Assisting users with HFM/OneStream support
- Reviewing monthly management accounts from operations
- Preparation of audit papers, board papers, etc.
- Preparation and finalisation of entities AFS (including CIPC submissions)
- Assistance with reporting requirements (RSA and Greater Africa)
- Preparation of impairment calculations
- Involvement in reporting for Principal
- Liaising with internal and external auditors
- Assistance with financial analysis for operations and support functions
- Involvement in ad hoc reporting
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Newly Qualified CA (SA)
- SAP knowledge (advantageous)
- Knowledge and experience of financial reporting systems would be an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressurized circumstances and to meet deadlines
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
