Barista & Sales Position (Grade 12)
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Salesperson with a unique blend of customer service skills, sales expertise, and hospitality experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, they will be responsible for preparing delicious coffee beverages to enhance the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Being an ambassador for our brand and offering exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Sales Expertise: Understand and communicate product features, benefits, and promotions to drive sales and achieve targets.
- Coffee Preparation: Prepare and serve coffee beverages to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment, including the coffee preparation area.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to support overall store operations and achieve sales goals.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock replenishment, product displays, and inventory management.
Requirements
- A Matric certificate.
- Previous sales experience in a retail environment.
- Experience in the Hospitality Industry is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to take initiative.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.
