JUNIOR PASTRY CHEF
Are you passionate about creating delectable pastries, and baked goods? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a creative flair in the kitchen? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Demi Pastry Chef to join our team and contribute to the production of exceptional cakes and pastries.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the head pastry chef in the preparation and creation of a wide variety of pastries and cakes.
- Follow established recipes and techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the pastry team to develop new recipes and innovative flavor combinations and designs.
- Conduct regular quality checks to maintain the highest standards of taste, presentation, and freshness.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in inventory management, including monitoring ingredient levels and minimizing waste.
- Provide guidance and support to junior pastry cooks or apprentices, as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Commi / Demi Pastry Chef in a professional bakery.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new recipes and cake designs.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
