About the Job
We are looking for a person who will be responsible for ensuring that a fleet of vehicles operated by subcontractors complies with all relevant regulations and company standards.
Qualification & Experience
- Grade 12.
- Business administration, legal qualification or relevant.
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in compliance, focusing on fleet management.
- Strong truck and trailer maintenance experience.
- Code 14 driver's license.
Key Performance Areas
- Sub-contractor vehicle Maintenance and Inspection: Maintain an updated fleet list of all subcontractors. Ensure that all vehicles meet safety standards and are properly maintained, including NATIS documentation. Oversee the fleet license and registration compliance and renewals; conduct regular audits to ensure compliance. Coordinate with all the relevant stakeholders and subcontractors to ensure all fleet is roadworthy compliant.
- Incident Management: Investigate accidents and incidents involving assets and write reports where required. Assist in the implementation of corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Subcontractor Liaison: Liaise with subcontractors to ensure they understand and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Address any compliance issues promptly and effectively. Act as a point of contact for all assets and/or vehicle queries relating to sub-contractors.
- Record Keeping & Administration: Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies as required. Prepare reports for management as and when required.
