We are looking for a Technology Specialist – Modern Work. Specializing in Modern Work solutions, you will act as a technical thought leader working with the Modern Work Digital Solution Area Specialist to accelerate technical execution of Microsoft's strategic business priorities – selling best-in-class cloud services and platforms to our managed customers and building digital transformation momentum for our customers, partners, and Microsoft.
This exciting role encompasses a vast territory, covering key Microsoft customers across the Middle Eastern and African most dynamic regions. Responsibilities - Engage with the Modern Work Digital Solution Area Specialist to serve as a technical thought leader and accelerate technical execution across Modern Work products.
- Proactively identify and engage with key customer technical decision makers and influencers across Modern Work products, while engaging the sales team and helping lead sales strategy.
- Lead and ensure complex technical wins. Build strategy across complex deals; map the agreed customer vision into a strategy, resolve concerns, and validate a strong business case for investment.
- Drive technical assessments to create a map of the current landscape and build the technical migration plans.
- Design the solution using your technical knowledge, ensuring technical decision makers agree with proposed architecture and migration plan.
- Scale through partners and support partner technical capacity by monitoring and analyzing resources.
- Build competitive knowledge, document compete patterns, and share within the technology specialist community.
- Proactively provide insight onto Corp, business and product groups, sales strategy, and business reviews for impact.
- Be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with the Engineering team to remove key blockers.
- Identify and support the creation of new pipeline within customer engagements.
Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications - 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience with developing and delivering customer demos/proof of concepts for productivity and collaboration-centric across competitive offerings.
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications - 8+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery experience
- 6+ years experience working in a large matrixed, global technology company
- 3+ years experience working on driving business transformation with AI
- Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Microsoft 365, MS-900 Certification, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
