Kings Square Hardware Trading has an opportunity in the crown mines area available for a Store Manager position. To manage and execute all processes from ordering to dispatch, in order to ensure efficient customer service and satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric;
- Diploma in business management or related field;
- 5 - 15 years working experience as a store manager;
- Computer literate;
- Own reliable transport;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Excellent personnel management and communication skills;
- Time management and organisational skills;
- Highly motivated and target driven;
- Team player;
- Manage and conduct store and staff meetings.
Advantageous:
- Experience in the hardware and building material field;
- Knowledgeable on industry compliance requirements;
- In-depth knowledge on various store departments.
Job Specification:
- Responsibility of the entire store;
- Ensure sufficient staff at all times;
- Ensure staff training;
- Manage staff attendance and work schedule;
- Ensure upkeep of the store, safety, hygiene, cleanliness;
- Ensure correct merchandise and display;
- Ensure thorough stock management and replenishments;
- Management reporting.
Competencies Essential:
- To demonstrate customer service mindset;
- Fluent in English - writing and speaking;
- Ability to work under pressure, have good attention to detail, and be deadline driven.

- South African citizen with clear credit and criminal record;
