An amazing opportunity has come available for a Senior Account Manager to work for this home textiles manufacturer, managing one of their largest customers, leading the Account Management team.
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of customer product ranges and the homewares market, including competitor analysis and work closely with the customer to understand their requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer and manage key stakeholders through arranging and attending meetings.
- Work closely with the Design and Buying teams by providing customer feedback and developing product ranges.
- Negotiate prices.
- Drive the production process from concept through to delivery to store, ensuring stakeholders have completed all aspects of the critical path.
- Support and lead the Account Management team.
- Lead, develop, motivate, and mentor the cross-functional internal customer team to achieve and exceed business goals.
- Be the point of escalation for the account management team and offer support where necessary.
Skills and Experience
- Experience within supply chain and progressing to Account Manager level.
- Ideally having worked with high street/supermarket key accounts.
- Must have an understanding of Far East manufacturing, including costs, MOQs, and lead times.
- Confident with costings.
