NOTE:

Checking guests into and out of the Hotel and dealing with general guest enquiries and smooth running of the Hotels Reception, Reservations.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Apex Property Management System or equivalent
- Previous Hotel Experience - NOT NEGOTIABLE
- Hospitality Diploma or equivalent
- Fluent In English (fluent speaking)
THE ROLE:
- Consistently offer professional, warm and friendly service to all internal and external guests.
- Have a full knowledge about all outlets in the hotel, ongoing promotions and services offered.
- Thorough working knowledge of all computer and manual procedures in the Front office as laid down in the standard of Performance Manual.
- Deal with all guest’s situations in a welcoming, courteous, efficient and caring manner.
- Ensure a smooth check in using relevant property management system whereby all legal and hotel requirements concerning arriving guests are met.
- Answer all telephone calls quickly and efficiently in accordance with the standard laid in the SOPs.
- Ensure smooth check out.
- Ensure that banking is completed at the end of each shift.
- Promote hotel’s facilities, restaurants and bars wherever possible.
- Be fully conversant and comply with health, safety, hygiene, fire and security regulations.
- Have a thorough understanding of all security regulations applicable to the Front Office.
- Will be required to work on Sundays, Public Holidays, and at night.
