Job Purpose
To drive sales growth by engaging with clients, demonstrating and promoting technical hardware and tools, and addressing their needs. This involves building and maintaining client relationships, managing orders and negotiations, staying updated on market trends, and meeting sales targets through effective presentations and strategic outreach.
Required Qualifications
- A Matric Certificate with Mathematics.
- Valid Driver's License.
Required Technical Competencies & Experience
- 1-2 Years previous Sales experience.
- Understanding of various types of hardware (e.g., screws, bolts, nuts, washers) and tools (e.g., drills, saws, wrenches), including their uses, features, and benefits.
- Familiarity with different brands and their reputations, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Visit clients to demonstrate products, showcase samples, and address their needs. Negotiate new and replacement orders.
- Stay updated on our products and those of competitors. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to devise effective promotion strategies.
- Provide feedback to management on sales and marketing efforts. Report on the performance of new and existing products.
- Investigate customer needs, explain and demonstrate products, and deliver technical presentations on product applications.
- Arrange and demonstrate goods at commercial premises and exhibitions.
- Answer client questions and provide advice on product usage.
