General Manager (hospitality) - North West, Hartbeespoort
Well renowned estate and golf club in Hartbeespoort seeks a General Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 5-10 years in a similar environment at a similar level preferably with golf estate experience.
- Proven management skills across all aspects of estate management, golf club operations and food and beverage operations.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business management or related field.
Duties will include:
- Directs and co-ordinates strategic activities on the estate.
- Develop business plans.
- Ensure day to day business affairs are monitored effectively.
- Oversee the management and performance of all staff operations and services; assure high standards and total customer satisfaction.
- Monthly Board Reporting to the Board of Directors.
- Monthly reporting to the Committee Chairpersons.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Ensure company financial stability and growth.
- Financial control: supply Board / HOA Directors with budgetary requirements on an annual basis.
- Cost control: effectively controls all operational expenses – ensures that costs do not exceed budget.
- Oversee implementation of estate rules.
- Debtors management.
- Human Resource Management including staff recruitment, training, performance appraisals, industrial relations.
- Develops and/or revises standard operational and working practices.
- Service Level Agreement / Service Provider Management.
- Management of projects.
