Description:
RPO Recruitment's client, in the retail industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Orders Administrator to join their team in Cape Town. The Orders Administrator will be responsible for processing and tracking all incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, process, and track all incoming orders from customers
- Communicate with suppliers to place orders and ensure timely delivery
- Update inventory records and maintain accurate stock levels
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to fulfill orders and arrange for shipment
- Resolve any order discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
- Generate reports on order status, inventory levels, and sales trends
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving complaints
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Orders Administrator or similar role in a retail environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional training or certification in office administration or retail management is a plus
