Job Description
This is a large international group looking for a candidate with a BCom and SAICA articles with at least three years of post-article experience in a supervisory capacity. The ideal candidate will have financial reporting experience, knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, and full IFRS.
You will manage a team of 7 and be responsible for:
- Managing the full general ledger.
- Approving journals and payments.
- Enforcing company controls and policies.
- Training department staff.
- Reviewing VAT returns and managing tax.
- Company secretarial work.
You will report to the international holding company, compiling the financial statements and consolidating information from 4 separate entities. A friendly, approachable, calm, and collected person is ideally suited to this environment.
