Job Purpose:An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of the service administration team and industrial assembly solutions customer centre located in Wolverhampton.The Role involves taking responsibility for planning the day-to-day work schedules, of our field service engineers, ensuring that all planned service requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.BenefitsHybrid work upon completion of training25 days holiday plus bank holidays10% pension contributionPrivate healthcareLife assuranceKey responsibilitiesTo administer the forward planning of all open orders, ensuring that the department service requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.To effectively manage the use of the SPIRIT Field service work flowTo support the Service Administrator(s) and to set the Engineers work schedules in order to maximise efficiency and minimise WIP.To ensure the orders are correctly allocated and released to the engineer prior to the visit date.Ensure all specialist tooling (calibration equipment) is available to each engineer to enable them to carry out the allocated tasks.To liaise with customers by phone or e-mail to arrange and confirm the service visits, and ensure they are fully aware of the work and the date the work is to be carried out.Be responsible for providing customers with all relevant risk assessment, method statements and engineer certification as required.To monitor and record the progress of all customer orders to ensure work is fully completed, and any additional work is planned and completed in a timely fashion.To maintain all orders within the SPIRIT, to ensure all work is correctly allocated, so that quality reports can be gathered via SAP/SPIRIT reporting facilities.To regularly liaise with the Field Service Engineers, Service Sales Managers and internal departments to expedite customer requests.To regularly liaise with the Operations Manager and Field Service Engineer Team Leader in order to highlight and resolve any operational/planning problems in an effective and efficient manner.To collate information from the Field Service Engineers in order to accurately record and maintain customer records and information.Experience/knowledge requirementsThe following requirements are essential:Significant experience of working in business administrationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong planning and organising skillsAbility to manage and prioritise workloadExcellent PC skills including Microsoft OfficeExcellent telephone mannerSAP knowledge and experienceThe following requirements are desirable:Knowledge of the company’s SPIRIT service management systemSales company experienceAspirational to progress and grow within the organisationExperience of working within a service environmentCompetenciesThe following requirements are essential:Adaptability – ability to modify style in order to achieve results and maintain effectiveness.Creative Thinking – Ability to identify alternatives to current thinking.
