Kilco provides specialist knowledge in animal health and food safety.Role Summary:We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to join our Pig & Poultry Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for:Supporting customers and attending regular technical service visitsDelivery of the budget in terms of turnover and margin for customersMaintenance of existing customer accounts and accountability for growing the area business into new account opportunitiesMaintenance of the business reporting tools and CRM systemDevelopment of the area business plan that will feed into the National PlanAttending national events, which may involve overnight staysEnsuring company policy is followed in terms of regulatory compliance across all customer sitesAdhering to all aspects of health and safety.Key Skills / Attributes / Core Competencies:A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the agricultural/food processing sectorIdeally a background within the Pig and /or Poultry sectorsAgricultural/Science qualification to degree level is preferredAbility to plan for and manage multiple prioritiesOrganised and efficient to manage own diary, meet deadlines and deliver objectivesIT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Personal Attributes / Core Behaviours:Excellent professional sales technique with an ability top generate new business and maintain customer relationshipsAn understanding of agricultural processes and procedures, particularly within the pig and poultry sectorsGood presentation skillsExcellent interpersonal skills to facilitate communication between teams and with customers and colleagues in person via email and over the phoneAbility to continually improve quality and effectiveness of all activitiesFull UK driving licence is requiredPay and Benefits:A competitive salary and benefits package, including health benefits, company car, laptop and phonePart of a Bonus Scheme up to 20% of salaryContinuous professional development and career advancement opportunities in a global organisation.
