To coordinate, monitor and execute operational procurement work within established frameworks and policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma: Supply Chain Management / Procurement.
- 2-3 years’ experience in Procurement / Supply Chain.
- Procurement Processes.
- Administration and organisational skills.
Minimum work experience:
- Ensure all commercial activities within the Procurement Department have been ratified in terms of legal and financial requirements
- Ensure the supply to site is done with the shortest possible lead time, using best quality, best price and best practice
- Manage and maintain CHG’s supplier database in collaboration with cross functional team members
- Take a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring risks and issues are identified, addressed and reported and, where appropriate, escalated
- Identify innovative ways to improve business practices, processes and synergies to save costs, increase efficiencies and improve service delivery
- Effectively manage supplier queries.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve procurement objectives
- Implement, manage, and report on cost improvement objectives and communicate or escalate any shortfalls
- Develop audit reports and contribute towards the development of reporting standards across the function
- Analyse information and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies
