Reporting to Sales Manager – CNS Generics, the job purpose is to represent, detail, sell, and deliver primarily generic products to doctors, specialists, and pharmacies.
Required Learning
- BSc or Business Degree
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a medical sales representative
Key Job Outputs
- Thorough product knowledge of own and competitor products.
- Detail promoted products to selected Healthcare Practitioners (HCPs).
- Territory and time management.
- Ensure adherence to product marketing strategy through management of stock levels, merchandising, and promotional activity at pharmacies and dispensaries.
- Ensure adherence to current marketing code of conduct and legislation.
- Arrange and facilitate continuing medical education (CME) including guest speakers, venues, and invitations.
- Conduct trainings at pharmacies and implement related strategies.
- Understand company policy and procedures and ensure adherence.
- Complete expense claim sheets and vehicle log books.
- Correct utilization of customer relationship marketing.
- Maintain customer relations in a cost-effective manner.
- Achieve call rate and coverage as per set standards.
