Job Purpose
The Customer Services Representative (CSC) is the first point of contact for customers, responsible for ensuring professional, friendly service while enhancing the business's image. The role requires a sales-driven individual with strong communication and people skills.
Required Qualifications
- Matric required.
- Supply Chain/Distribution/Sales qualification or higher diploma preferred.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
- At least 2 years of customer service or telesales experience.
Required Technical Competencies & Experience - Confirm customer orders and provide updates on out-of-stock items.
- Handle customer queries promptly, ensuring 100% resolution with follow-up communication.
- Accurately capture orders received via email or telephone within the same day.
- Support the external sales team and assist with customer queries.
- Communicate new customer queries to sales reps and provide effective customer support.
- Meet sales targets set by the business.
- Perform additional duties in support of the Sales department.
- Proficient in Syspro (compulsory) and FSSC 22000 food safety standards.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, administration, organization, and negotiation.
