Medical Administrative Assistant - Benoni
Our client, based in Benoni, is searching for a dedicated professional to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and providing essential support within a dynamic medical environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in administration, with a particular focus on the medical field, and will thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Co-ordinating and arranging any travel requirements
· Event planning
· Meetings (Physical and online): Scheduling of meetings including agenda, recording and minutes
· Maintaining office supplies and purchases
· Administrative support to ensure effective billing processes
· Acting as a point of contact and dealing with correspondence, phone calls, patients and medical staff
· Management of web page and social media pages
· Research (as determined by the Managing Partner)
· Drafting, copying, formatting, scanning, faxing, texting, WhatsApp, Filing
· Collection and uploading of patient data
· Attendance to any form of enquiries (telephone, physical, email etc)
· Management of support staff such as cleaners
· Liaison with billing and hospital offices
· Liaise and manage suppliers and support staff
· Ensure that offices and kitchen are clean and organised
Qualifications and Experience:
· Diploma in Office Administration or similar
· A minimum of 10 years of applicable experience, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in a healthcare environment.
· Preference to applicants with medical office experience
Skills and competencies:
· Strong computer literacy and Microsoft Office expertise
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to stay up to date and incorporate new technology
· Ethical and trustworthy, especially to confidential information
