The Head of Academics will work with the leadership team to further define our vision and mission and will need to take ownership for future growth and sustainability. The successful candidate will report into the Director and work closely with colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of all KPIs.
- Create the academic vision for the future qualifications and programs focused on the College's core values and brand promise.
- Ensure an exceptional student experience across all disciplines.
- Responsible for the quality and standards of both current and future qualifications and programs.
- Forge strong partnerships with industry and accreditation authorities to optimize growth opportunities.
- Champion the transformational impact of education and knowledge on individuals in both B2B and B2C markets.
- Build and develop new sales channels within the College.
Strategic
- Plan to ensure the College has the right blend of accredited qualifications and skills programs.
Academic
- Develop new qualifications and skills programs.
- Monitor graduation rates and conduct current course reviews.
Operational
- Manage financial aspects including scholarships, bursaries, and international funding.
- Monitor bursary grants as a percentage of previous profits, admin cost per student, and admissions for private and corporate sectors.
- Track retention rates, degree completion, and academic surveys.
- Requirements: 3-5 years experience as a Head of Academics, B2C and B2B sales experience, familiarity with LMS tools, branding experience, sales-driven mindset, strategic planning skills.
