They are currently in the early stages of a big transformation, which has resulted in this exciting, brand new, Procurement Transformation vacancy.They are looking for someone to lead the transformation of their procurement function, who will be a Senior Manager within the organisation, reporting directly into the Chief Procurement Officer.They are looking for someone who has experience within the Financial Services industry. Ideally you will be comfortable with process improvement, policy creation, contract management, senior stakeholder management, process optimization, strategy creation, and change management.The role is greenfield, providing a very exciting opportunity for someone to come in and create, transform and centralise a brand-new procurement function for a world leading Financial Services Corporation.The role is a 12-month FTC with the potential to extend.Please read on and get in touch if you want to discuss further:Role & ResponsibilitiesUndertake a thorough analysis of the current state of procurement by reviewing the operating modelSupport the creation of a business case to compare the current state with a fit for purpose solutionDevelop and implement a comprehensive procurement transformation strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectivesLead the establishment of a new procurement division from the ground up, including staffing, processes, and systemsAnalyse current processes, design and implement new procurement processes and systemsEnsure everything implemented complies with internal policies and external regulationsSelect and ensure effective integration of new procurement technologies and toolsIdentify and mitigate risks including ensuring robust contract management and supplier performance monitoring processes are in placeBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as across other business departments (e.g. Finance, Operations, PCM, Legal), ensuring close collaboration and alignmentExperience & RequirementsExperience in leading transformational business process reengineering and a drive in change managementExcellent understanding of procurement policies and proceduresProven experience of contract management and negotiating termsIdeally knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements related to procurement activitiesStrong communication skills and can demonstrate influencing senior managementIdeally will be degree and MCIPS qualified
