Purpose Of Position
To support the drivers once they have completed the transport drops.
Debriefing And Administration
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY RESULTS AREAS
- Reconciles purchase orders, collection of documentation and re-deliveries to trip sheet as well as proof of deliveries.
- Checks each purchase order for date, full name and signature of the Receiving Clerk.
- Maintains accurate administration, records and reconciliations.
- Attends to any Driver or delivery issues that may develop during shift.
- Receiving dispatch matters are dealt with as required in a timely manner.
Compliance
- Operates within controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of the company.
- Reports risks or areas of concern to management within own operating area.
- Promotes compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures to prevent fruitless, wasteful and irregular expenditure.
Customer Service
- Assists employees and strives to maintain effective working relationships.
- Identifies and solves problems within own operating area in line with the company's core values.
Cost And Waste Control
- Assists in limiting and controlling cost by minimising damage, loss or waste.
- Reports incidents to direct Manager.
