KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY IN THIS POSITION INCLUDE:
- Sales and Marketing: Perform an efficient and technically proficient sales and marketing/promotional function within the sales support department.
- Budget and Cost Control: Responsible for budget and cost control in area of operation.
- Reporting and Communication: Responsible for maintaining an effective internal and external reporting system.
- Administration: Perform all required administrative duties.
- Staff Supervision and Controlling: Delegating responsibilities to sales staff.
- Technical Product Support and Services: Full technical field service + engine repairs functions.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent.
- Technical Trade Qualification (Ideally in Diesel Fitting).
- A Technical Diploma or Certificate in the Diesel Trade Field.
- Minimum 4 Years Technical Product Sales Experience and People Management.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Technical knowledge and understanding of diesel engines and related parts.
- Ability to acquire company product knowledge.
- Computer literate, with ability to become proficient in the use of the Embrace EDP system.
- Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, and Access software.
