Industrial Sales Engineer Automotive ~ Renewable Energy
Durban - Kwa Zulu Natal - South Africa
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will drive product definition and sales within a specified area.
With 3-5 years of experience in selling and specifying solar systems, inverters, industrial batteries, standby power, and traction, you will leverage your expertise to ensure consistent, profitable growth through strategic planning and professional solutions.
Key Duties:
- Managing warranty claims
- Educating customers on product updates
- Aligning customer strategies with company goals
- Tracking market trends
- Maintaining a precise customer database
- Conducting pricing surveys
- Managing discounts
Collaboration with internal teams is crucial to achieving business objectives and fostering a cooperative work environment.
Educational Qualifications: - Grade 12
- At least N3 Technical qualification
- Recognised Sales and/or Marketing Qualification
Essential Experience: - Minimum of 3 - 5 Years within a solutions-selling environment
- 3 - 5 years of experience in selling and specifying solar systems/inverters/industrial batteries/Standby Power/Traction
- Valid driver’s license
