An opportunity exists for an exceptional Sports Coordinator to join the school from January 2025 .
Duties (not an exhaustive list):
- Responsible for overall co-ordination and communication of sporting events. This includes projection of termly transport requirements and tracking of expenditure.
- Officiating various sports matches.
- Administration and arranging of annual sporting awards.
- Oversee sport facilities and equipment maintenance requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant diploma/degree.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Sports and/or Sports Administration.
- SACE Registration.
- Ability to swim.
Candidates should have the following attributes:
- A willingness to work as part of a team and team teach, if required.
- A highly organised person who enjoys the challenges of fixture and timetable co-ordination.
- Knowledge of Primary School Sporting Codes.
- Capable of working under pressure, can prioritise and schedule workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach and officiate a variety of sports.
- A commitment to ongoing personal development and a future-orientated approach.
- The capacity to develop and sustain new coaching practices.
- An energetic and inspirational approach to girls’ learning and motivation.
- A values-based approach to the care and wellbeing of girls.
- The intention to work according to the school’s ethos, specifications, and policies.
