Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s Licence and Vehicle.
- A recognized Sales Qualification / 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Strategic analytical and data driven approach.
- Experience in working with Tour Operators, DMC’s, and Event planners.
- Excellent Computer literacy - MS Office programmes is essential and proficiency in Opera advantageous.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal competencies and presentation skills.
- Results oriented and able to meet deadlines.
- Efficient in time management and can work without supervision.
- The ability to interact and work with multiple stakeholders to achieve service and departmental goals.
- A good understanding of budgeting and the ability to work within set budgets.
Description:
- Management of the current sales team and handling International and Local Sales and Marketing.
- Focus on growth and concentrate more heavily on the FIT and regional markets.
- Responsible for the overall preparation and implementation of the day-to-day marketing activities.
- Training of a new Sales team.
- Regional & International Sales calls.
- Manage and deliver the day-to-day marketing activity for the group in line with the agreed Marketing Strategy, to support the delivery of revenue targets.
- Contribute to the creative process of all group communications and websites.
- Manage and coordinate the group Communications Plan to ensure that all communications are targeted at the right audience and delivered on time.
- Track campaign success to enable the company to understand the return on investment of each activity and aid future promotion plans through effective reporting.
- Work closely with and manage the design team to deliver innovative and creative marketing material.
- Ensure that the best possible rates are achieved through suppliers when ordering marketing material and other services.
- Responsible for the production of a monthly marketing report for the group, detailing key achievements, activity undertaken and future key initiatives.
- Provide support in the management of press events and responsible for the management of marketing expos.
- Analyse the market (evaluation of the positioning and differentiation of PHG units, trends in the various segments in terms of volume/revenue, competitive analysis, evaluation of new markets of opportunities, studies of trends of nationalities, etc.).
- Detect business opportunities, design and organise strategies and sales programmes for the unit.
- New product development that continually pushes the boundaries of what is possible, creating truly unique and exciting group experiences and trips.
- Manage costs in line with revenues and budgets effectively to ensure a profitable business unit.
