CAPAGO is a French provider of outsourcing services for European governments and their diplomatic missions, responsible for financing and managing visa application centers to process their Schengen visa applications.
We currently operate in 10 countries and welcome more than 250,000 visa applicants each year.
As part of our development, we are looking to strengthen our Visa Application Department and are seeking an experienced Visa Application Officer looking for new challenges within a dynamic and human-focused company.
Description Of The Position
The VAO at Capago has the following objectives:
- The mission of a Visa Application Officer is to realize all tasks required for the represented consulate(s) to process visa applications.
- According to the department where he/she will be assigned, the Visa Application Officer will have to welcome clients, collect and capture their data with all information related to them.
- The visa application officer is the face of Capago. All applicants that he/she is handling must be treated using the best practices of customer service.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the VAO are as follows:
- Welcoming all visa applicants in the operated visa application center.
- Processing the visa application of the applicants (front office).
- Collecting payments from the applicants (Payment counter).
- Managing the biometric collection of visa applicants (biometry).
- Managing all back office tasks to finalize the visa application of our applicants (back office).
- Managing all other tasks given by the management.
Required Skills
The skills required for this position are:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent typing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Good with emails, problem solving, and effective decision making.
- Ability to handle pressure.
- Energetic, proactive, versatile, committed to teamwork, and team spirit.
Diplomas And Experience
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Matric or equivalent.
- Tertiary qualification is an added advantage.
- Previous customer service experience as a customer service consultant.
- Excellent interaction and interpersonal skills.
- Motivation, communication, engagement in teamwork.
