Introduction

GUD Holdings is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Process and Quality Engineering Manager at our Servo Site. In this pivotal position, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our Quality System while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, integrate, and maintain a Quality System at the Servo Site in alignment with G.U.D. QMS requirements and specifications.
- Act as the primary interface with customers on quality issues and ensure the maintenance of Quality Systems.
- Showcase your expertise in developing and supporting manufacturing processes, including implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement efforts through structured problem-solving tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on CAPEX projects and encourage standardization and compliance with GUD Holdings Group / QMS Standard Operating Procedures.
- Lead the development and implementation of site-specific and group-level Quality Management Systems.
- Ensure compliance with standards, customer-specific requirements, and continual liaison with the Group QA department.
- Manage all process and product audits, including follow-up on corrective actions.
- Participate in Customer and 3rd Party audits, ensuring effective action plans are implemented to address nonconformities.
- Assess and respond to all Non-Conformances and Audit Report findings, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Develop and maintain Quality Records/Statistics, identify weaknesses, and implement preventative/corrective actions as required.
- Provide regular reports on Quality Strategy outcomes/progress and facilitate customer scorecard updates and corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement projects and participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze field complaints and trends to establish meaningful preventative/corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Conduct timely PFMEA reviews and ensure alignment with associated work instructions and control forms.
- Monitor and measure processes for effectiveness, driving continual improvement.
- Develop and implement process/product training for new projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Management to implement functional, value-added Quality/Product Training.
Minimum Requirements
- Quality Management Diploma/Mechanical Engineering Degree, along with Matric NTC 4 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- Advanced knowledge/competence in Quality Core tools and techniques, including ISO9001, IATF 16949, and lead auditor certifications.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Management function in a similar production facility, with experience as a process technician or similar role.
- Registered VDA 6.3 auditor. PSCR Certificate, IATF 16949 Certificate, VDA 6.5 certification.
