A property company in Pretoria is seeking a
Lease Administrator to manage all aspects of lease agreements for a portfolio of properties. The successful candidate will ensure accurate contractual billing and assist with tenant-related queries and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lease Administration: - Manage tenant data for new and existing properties.
- Draft TAFs, offers, and lease agreements.
- Liaise with tenants to ensure all documents are signed and submitted.
- Conduct lease audits.
- Submit letting commissions for payment.
- Calculate and bill annual turnover rentals and rate increases.
- Handle contractual and ad-hoc billing adjustments (rent, deposits, guarantees, insurance, etc.).
- Maintain accurate filing of tenant correspondence and legal documents.
- Manage tenant installation invoices and process payments.
2. Reporting: - Provide reports to Asset Manager on unsigned leases, upcoming expirations, expired leases, and outstanding turnover certificates.
3. General Administration: - Perform general administrative tasks for the department.
Requirements:
Education: - Matric certificate.
- Strong understanding of commercial lease agreements.
Skills & Systems: - Proficient in Office 365 (Advanced Excel).
- Experience with MRI Property Billing System (advantageous).
- Familiarity with DocuSign and LISA (Lead to Lease) is a plus.
Experience: - Minimum of 2 years' experience in lease administration.

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Cooperative, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Strong time management.
- Bilingual.
