They are searching for a Deputy MLRO responsible for managing AML and Financial Crime Compliance of all their entities in the UK. As the Deputy MLRO, you will support the MLRO for all decision-making across the bank by applying business knowledge and financial crime subject matter expertise.As the Deputy MLRO, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the firm complies with anti-money laundering regulations.Key Responsibilities of Deputy MLROProvide oversight to the financial crime functionManage a team of financial crime professionalsDesign, implement and develop a financial crime programmeDevelop, implement, and improve financial crime policies and proceduresLiaise with the FCA, PRA and law enforcement agencies and external stakeholdersKeep up to date with regulatory developments impacting the businessProvide management information to the senior management and executive teamSupport the business with financial crime trainingExperience required of Deputy MLRODegree educated or equivalent professional experienceProven financial crime, AML subject matter expertiseFinancial Services experience or experience working within corporate banking, wealth management, private banking or asset managementSignificant experience managing anti-financial crime processes at an FCA-regulated firmExpert knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations, policies, and proceduresExperienced establishing relationships with regulators and law enforcementStrong problem-solving, analytical and communication abilitiesDemonstrate good leadership and mentoring skillsInterested in hearing more?
