SJC Partners have been mandated a prestigious global professional services company, which has through a period of unrivalled growth, to recruit a senior Business Development professional for their well established Private Equity Services team to generate introductions of work from within the local deals market (PE Houses, Law Firms, Accountancy firms) and spearhead their business development offering. More specifically, responsibilities will cover:Developing and consolidating relationships in the Manchester and North West M&A community;Individually initiating and linking up new business opportunities with the appropriate team/service offering internally generate deal flow;Organizing profile raising events for the PE team;Managing events including tables at appropriate dinners (awards dinners et al);Linking up with the London based Business Development team to share ideas and driving national initiatives locally;Involvement in presentations, conferences, marketing and PR campaigns; They are looking for an individual possessing extensive business development experience with a strong network ideally across Legal firms, Private Equity Houses Houses and Accountants (perhaps other disciplines operating in the M&A space) that can be utilised to drive introductions of work. Ideally you will have a ‘contact book’ from day one to generate referrals of work from though they will consider individuals still in the early stages of developing this, should they have sufficient business development experience.
