Field Guide/Trails Guide Responsibilities: Conduct engaging game drives and bush walks.
Host guests, providing an informative and immersive experience.
Prepare and present informative presentations about the reserve.
Monitor key species and assist with security measures.
Contribute to reserve and general maintenance tasks.
Assist in all departments as required.
Assistant Lodge Manager Responsibilities: Support the daily operations of the lodge, including front-of-house duties.
Efficiently coordinate guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
Host guests and ensure a friendly and welcoming environment.
Supervise housekeeping staff and manage shifts.
Oversee kitchen and bar operations, including stock takes and ordering.
Maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction.
Handle general office administration and staff training.
Act as backup and relief for the General Manager.
Minimum Requirements: FGASA NQF2/NQF4 certification.
Lead Trails Guide qualification is an advantage.
Advanced Rifle Handling & proficiency (ARH).
SAPS Competency certificate.
Minimum two years of field guide experience in a Big 5 reserve.
Valid NDT registration and PrDP license.
Valid First Aid certificate.
Two to three years of experience in a similar hospitality role/environment.
Computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans, both spoken and written.
Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
4x4 and off-road driving experience.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and commitment.
Proactive, self-motivated, flexible, and reliable.

Start date: Immediately.
Duration: Permanent position.
Probation period: 3 months.
Time off: 21 working days on duty and 7 days off.
