- Experience: 3-5 years in a mining environment, with specific Diesel Mechanic experience on Sandvik (Drillrig) DD 211, 321, (Bolter) DS211L-M, 221L, 311, (LHD) LH 410. GHH (LHD) 5.2, 5.5, 6.2. (Utility Vehicle) 40, 60. AARD (Utility Vehicle) Hencon Altecreter, Dieci Telehandler
- Must be fit to obtain a medical certificate of fitness and declared fit to work on a mine.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Competent in diesel machine systems, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, ensuring safe and effective operations in a mining environment.
- Competent B certificate Underground Hard rock operations
- Medical Certificate of Fitness to work Underground
- Good communication skills
- Clean Criminal record
Responsibilities: - Perform regular maintenance checks on diesel-powered vehicles, equipment, and machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all diesel equipment
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs
- Participate in maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adherence to safety standards.
- Adhere to maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and provide support when needed.
- Able to work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure
- A teamwork mentality to achieve results
- Effective listener with well-developed interpersonal skills
Salary Fixed Income Gross Income R 55 200.00 Other income/variable - Conops Allowance (Rules apply) R 7 200,00
- Bonus: You may qualify for a monthly incentive subject to targets are met according to the companys bonus structure.
