FTTX Field Sales Team Leader - Durban South

Responsibilities:
- Effectively plan daily and weekly field work activities for your sales agents
- Lead a team and drive sales through door-to-door and field activation activities
- Motivate and lead by example
- Set goals for the team and devise sales strategies
- Monitor daily sales performance by individual sales agents
- Build strong team ethics and manage sales team performance
- Develop and implement product and customer interaction training for your sales agents
- Recruit, train, and coach your sales team
- Manage time and operations effectively
- Build relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Travel with your team to source new prospective leads and close sales
Compensation:
- Basic Salary - R2 300
- Commission/KPI - up to R60 000
- Must have your own vehicle that is roadworthy
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric HG with a minimum of 2 years related field sales management in technical support/sales experience
- Tertiary qualification (degree/diploma) in Business Commerce / Business Administration or Marketing is advantageous
- Must have a Smartphone
- Proven track record of leading a field sales team
- Minimum of 1 year sales experience in cellular, internet, or fibre
- Minimum of 1 year’s target-driven sales experience
- Experience in interacting and reporting
- Experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated skills and experience in sales are required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as computer entry and/or typing skills
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP software is desired

- Willingness to work hours outside of the normal 08h00 – 18h00 and weekends
- Product knowledge
- Understanding of the Client corporate culture and vision
- Active listening, observation, and questioning skills to qualify needs and wants
- Ability to prospect and identify new opportunities, gain appointments with key decision makers, and win commitments for sales
- Qualify customer questions, handle objections, and manage negotiations leading to commitment
- Ensure customers understand the value proposition, features, benefits, competitive advantages, and applications of the product
Special Requirements:
- Demonstrated skills and proven experience in administration
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as computer entry and/or typing skills
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP, VPP (Siebel), and OBI software desired
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
