Qualifications And Requirements
- Matric (High School Diploma) or equivalent
- A post-matric qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the private security industry or a related sector such as hospitality or real estate.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the security industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
- Driver's license and own vehicle.
- Flexible working hours may be necessary to meet business development objectives.

Lead Generation And Qualification: - Generate and qualify new business leads including networking, cold calling, referrals, and digital marketing.
- Maintain a pipeline of potential customers and keep detailed records of interactions and sales activities on the CRM system.
Client Engagement And Relationship Building: - Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the target market.
- Understand client needs and develop customized solutions to address their security requirements.
Sales Strategy Development: - Contribute to the development of sales plans, forecasts, and targets.
Proposal Development & Presentation: - Prepare and present proposals, presentations and tailored solutions to prospective clients' highlighting the value proposition and benefits of the company's services.
Customer Retention And Growth: - Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
Reporting & Documentation: - Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including client interactions, pipeline status, and sales progress.
- Prepare regular reports for management on business development activities and outcomes.
