Job purpose:
The purpose of the Junior Sales Representative role is to support the sales team by generating leads, developing client relationships, and driving sales.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Client Engagement: Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to understand their cash management needs and present tailored solutions.
- Sales Support: Assisting Business Development Consultants with telesales and appointment management.
- Conduct outbound telesales to reach out to potential retail business clients proactively
- Manage and analyse sales pipelines to accelerate the sales cycle.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information and addressing any concerns or objections raised by prospects.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Focus on securing meetings (confirmed with the decision makers) where the business is currently in the market for a cash management solution.
- Focus on securing meetings (confirmed with the decision makers) that are currently in contract with a competitor and should form part of your future-dated pipeline.
- Strive to understand your prospect's business requirements to effectively provide the correct Connected Solution and negotiate past objections across our client's full product offering (prepaid airtime and electricity / Card / Cash / Capital).
- Sell their end-to-end solution and the benefits thereof
- Bring in new business in line with the weekly/ monthly/ quarterly and annual targets agreed.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop strategic plans aligned with company objectives.
- Manage lead databases and CRM systems to track lead interactions and progress throughout the sales pipeline.
- Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria.
Required
- Matric essential
- 1.5 + years experience in customer relationship, account management, and/or business administration.
- Proven experience in sales/cold calling, preferably in the financial services or cash management industry.
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
- The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
- Own vehicle required essential
