Our client is looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join their team as a Junior IT Technical Engineer. As a foundational member of the technical team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting telephony solutions and contributing to various projects within the Telecom sector.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Technical:
- Execute fundamental technical tasks under supervision.
- Address basic technical challenges, seeking guidance when needed.
- Conduct basic maintenance on technical platforms for system stability.
Project Management and Coordination:
- Support senior engineers in project tasks and deliverables.
- Contribute to tracking and monitoring tasks to maintain project timelines.
- Assist in identifying and resolving project-related issues.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues to address technical concerns and find solutions.
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing and brainstorming sessions.
Leadership and Management:
- Demonstrate leadership skills by taking ownership of assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Take initiative and suggest improvements to implementation and support processes.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Analyze and evaluate technical requirements for systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant industry knowledge/certification, e.g., CompTIA Server+/Network+, SIP School, or equivalent.
- Additional certifications in network security or cloud technologies.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in telephony engineering or related field.
- Proven track record of maintaining telephony solutions, including VoIP systems, PBX, SIP, and other protocols.
- Hands-on experience with telephony hardware and software components.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting telephony systems in various environments.
- Experience with telephony integration into unified communications platforms, collaboration tools, and contact center solutions.
