This is a varied role across a broad HR spectrum supporting the Head of HR and HR and Board of Directors Associate within a small and fast paced teamWellbeing initiatives and People Development are also high on our agenda, so experience in projects in this arena would be advantageousKey responsibilities and duties: Advising: Answering calls and responding to emails that have been escalated from others within the HR team. Providing face to face and remote employee relations advice to managers and their teams on all matters, being pro-active and challenging their approach (where appropriate) to ensure consistency and that the correct process is being followed.Employee relations: Attending meetings such as investigations, disciplinary and grievance meetings to take minutes and maintain HR records accordingly. Undertaking leavers discussions, feeding back any concerns to the Head of HRRecruitment: To assist with all aspects of recruitment including attending interviews with line managers L&D- Leading on the delivery of ILM accredited line manager training on all aspects of HR policy and procedureWellbeing- Lead on various Wellbeing initiatives promoting key tools and activities to enhance health and wellbeing at workEmployee Engagement: Supporting employee engagement sessions and assisting with analysisProjects: Contributing to HR projects like introducing an effective induction program, growing our D&I agenda and analysis of the employee survey.Key skills:Must be a people person with the ability to build rapport with colleagues and others Excellent communicator, able to build and maintain professional relations with colleaguesA team player but equally motivated working alonePositive ‘can do’ attitudeDiligent and able to deal effectively with confidential mattersAbility to use common sense and challenge the status quoGood time management skills – comfortable with working under pressure and meeting deadlinesStrong organisational skills with attention to detail and a methodical approachAble to manage on time and use initiative, including managing multiple tasks and conflicting deadlinesKey attributes:CIPD qualifiedKnowledge of current employment legislation and its practical implementationExperience in L&D activities beneficial Experience on wellbeing initiativesKnowledge of HR and ATS systemsWorking knowledge of UKGDPR and its practical implementationWhat we offer.We believe that taking care of our employees is the key to their success.
