About the roleWe’re a hiring for a graduate (or equivalent) to join Legado’s growth team and support us to accelerate expansion. This role is entrepreneurial in nature (requiring high levels agency and creativity), is suitable for someone who has deep conviction to build great businesses, and values high performance & impact.The role will work closely with the founding team to unlock growth across new target verticals and accelerate growth within existing ones, and generally supporting Legado in defining a world-class distribution strategy.The role has room for significant growth across the business as we expand and will provide high level of dynamism and raw business exposure.Primary ResponsibilitiesMaster our productUnderstand our product back to front, what customers we serve, the challenges they face, and how we solve those problemsLead GenerationUnlock growth by generating new deals through prospecting for relevant companies and key personnel within those companies against the value areas of our proposition via channels like LinkedIn, email outreach and cold calling to initiate commercial engagements (including creating compelling email content and pitches)Update our CRM with new leads including contact information and relevant intel against those leads to support on outbound prospectingSales process/deal executionSupport our sales team to execute deals; meeting with prospective customers, learning their challenges and positioning our product accordingly, and delivering concise, impactful demosSupport our sales team to move the discussion with an interested prospect to contractual commitment, including response to due diligence process, commercial and contractual discussions and other aspects of the procurement processPreparation of collateralSupport preparation of sales presentations that concisely communicates the value of our proposition, with specific tailoring to customer issuesCustomer and Market analysis· Conduct analysis of prospective companies to identify key information such as: Goals, Challenges, Current standing, Key decision makersAnalyse key personnel of prospective companies to identify opportunities to initiate an engagementReport key findings from analysis to support the commercial team’s efforts to generate/progress dealsConduct first principles analysis of our target market, and report key findings including market trends and opportunitiesSupport in establishing action plans for Legado’s commercial activity to take advantage of analysed market opportunitiesIdentify relevant events that we should be attending to support business development activities, and identity + report key prospects that will be attending those eventsThe ideal candidate:Skills & - A degree in Business & Management or a related field (e.g. Entrepreneurship) - Business/commercial acumen (can easily understand the drivers for our customers’ businesses to identify strong prospects)- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)- Strong presentational skills- Powerpoint proficiency- Time management skills- Proficient with CRMs- Prioritisation- Administrative skills- AutonomyQualities that set you apart- A demonstrable passion/interest for technology- A demonstrable passion/interest for working in a start-up company- A demonstrable passion/interest for sales, especially technology sales- Seeks out and works well in a fast-paced, results oriented environment- A good understanding of the retail financial services sector- High agency and proactivity- You value execution over everything- Able to put yourself into customers shoes and think like a buyer- You’re comfortable with ambiguity- You highly value ownership and accountability of your work- You are good fun…Four days per week in the office is required for this role.
