Our client Kick ICT has an exciting new opportunity for a Cyber Security Business Development Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. Kick ICT is based in Bellshill, Glasgow and this will be a hybrid position.Kick ICT was founded in 2015 and has quickly become Scotland's leading independent IT services business. Kick ICT's aim has been to help businesses succeed through providing them with financial and business management software, Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, managed IT and cloud services.As a Cyber Security Business Development Manager within the Cyber team, you will be instrumental in driving new business by developing and managing a robust cyber security sales pipeline. This role will require you to focus on promoting our managed cyber security services, including Security Operations Centre (SOC) services, Cyber Essentials certification, and solutions from key vendors like Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks. You will engage with both Public and Private sector organizations, identifying and closing new business opportunities while building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:•Business Development: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the cyber security domain, focusing on Managed Services, SOC, Cyber Essentials, Firewalls and Consulting Services•Sales Target Achievement: Carry and deliver on a measurable gross profit target through strategic sales initiatives.•Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across large Public and Private sector organisations.•Solution Selling: Understand and articulate the evolving cyber security challenges faced by organisations, presenting how Kick ICT’s offerings—such as managed security services and vendor-specific solutions—can address these challenges.•Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and pre-sales teams to create opportunities and align on strategies to enhance sales performance.Experience Required:•Cyber Security Sales Experience: Proven experience in selling cyber security solutions, particularly managed security services, SOC services, and compliance solutions like Cyber Essentials.
