JOB PURPOSEBased in our Portman Street branch, the cashier is the first point of contact that the Bank’s High Net Worth customers meet upon arrival. It is critical that our front line staff are professional and courteous at all times.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPeriodically carrying out full physical cash count of bulk cash and counter stock held overnight in the cash safe and reconcile with the Cash Account.Observing all the Policies and Procedures of the Bank including Account Opening and Anti-Money Laundering Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.Contributing towards the Unit’s Objectives, including cross selling of new accounts, deposits, remittance & canvassing for associated business.Assisting in Operations department daily routine work.Front line person in Prevention of Financial Crime through the counters of the Bank. As such he/ she has must observe all policies and procedures of the Bank, exercise vigilance and refer to IBO (In-charge Branch Operations) especially if in doubt about an event or transaction. Processing Pak Rupee Remittances by calculating, taking payment, providing customer with receipt and processing through EBA/Equation.Responding to customers questions/queries over the counter.Admitting customers to Safe Deposit Lockers.Scanning of signatures onto EBA.BACS & S/O processing.Obtaining necessary copies/ filing of vouchers for archival.Carrying out assigned QCFC functions.Ensuring compliance with Conduct Risk Management Framework (CRMF) and escalating any conduct risk related matters to their respective business head. Complaints register, quarterly EC/NEC payments report.Any other duties/ special projects assigned by the IBO.Minimum qualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent One year cash handling experienceExperience, Skills & CompetenciesStrong Customer Service SkillsAttention to Details Good Math SkillsListening and communication SkillsTeamwork Time Management Problem Solving Cash handling Basic Computers Skills
