Helping companies and patients by having a user first focus, you will be able to work on products which are used by people all across the world.What we’re looking for as a Lead Software Engineer:Someone who can take a technical lead on projects. Being able to solve problems, making sure quality of work is at its best, influencing decisions, able to provide continuous delivery of the products to production and pushing out small impactful changes at a high level.Responsibilities as a Lead Software Engineer:Solving various problems and providing technical solutionsDrive the team culture and create a great team environment & developmentHelp building the business as well as your teamDelivering small impactful projects for the users i.e 2 to 6 weeksWorking on end to end projects - making sure everything is done to a high standardDesigning, developing, deploying and maintaining your solutions for usersOwning front/back end developmentWorking with API infrastructure which will then allow for integration between service and third party systemsLeading projects focusing on solving real world business problemsExperience needed as a Lead Software Engineer:Experiencing working within user/product facing company (making changes while understanding the needs of the users)Worked within a team lead position while still being technically hands on (80/20 split hands on)Experience working with Ruby, Ruby on rails, Javascript, applicationsExamples of working with APIsProject examples of integrating with internal and third party servicesPreviously or currently leading and influencing your team either face to face or a remote working environmentInterview process:20 minute cultural assessmentConversation with the Head of Software and/or Engineering manager to discuss the role in more detail and culture fitProgramming session with one of the engineersFinal interview with Engineering Team Lead peer groupIf this position sounds of interest.
