You will delegate tasks and provide guidance to junior members of the team to support their ongoing knowledge and development. A key part of your role is to build your profile around the agency educating others to ensure their understanding financial processes and that these are adhered to.What you can expect to be doing:Technical knowledge and specialism Work with the internal agencies to collate budgets throughout the yearProduce month end reports with a focus on Gross Income (GI) including preparing and reviewing the deferred income schedule and GI reporting documentsRun finance inductions for new startersAttend monthly Senior Leadership Team meetings, providing analysis of the previous month’s performance, and challenge future performanceWork with the internal agencies running WIP meetings, monitoring any actions and challenging financials of the agencyRun regular commercial masterclasses and refreshers with the teamProduce and review monthly reporting for the networkCreate trackers for agencies as needed e.g., for client spendProduce ad hoc team, network and internal reports as requiredWorking as part of a multi-disciplinary team Support junior members of the team by delegating tasks and providing guidance to support their developmentBuild your profile around the agency and liaise with our multidisciplinary teams so that they understand how and when to involve you and the rest of the Finance teamBe a sounding board for all team members regarding work-related challengesBuild strong, positive relationships and be a trusted point of contact for any queries, escalating where appropriateActively foster an atmosphere of positive working that allows creative and effective work to flourishUnderstanding and working with the agency Demonstrate thorough knowledge of our credentials and be able to confidently explain the agency's portfolio of servicesUnderstand the roles and responsibilities of other agency departments and manage their involvement in projects appropriatelyEnsure appropriate admin / briefing / scheduling procedures required by other agency departments are understood and adhered to at all timesUnderstand and contribute to the goals of Havas LynxThis role could be a great fit for you if you possess the following:You’re a qualified / part qualified accountantHave month end experience including accruals, prepayments, and management accountsAdvanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial principles to non-finance colleaguesExcellent problem-solving skillsWhat you can expect from usA supportive and challenging environment in which you will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact that matters.
