In this role, you will serve as a vital connection between internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, optimising costs, and fostering effective supplier relationships. This role emphasises the importance of leadership, communication, and analytical skills to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and ensure supplier performance meets our standards.You will be acting as the co-pilot to the IT Strategic Sourcing Manager. This is a collective effort to drive a competitive workforce that aligns the strategic goals – ensuring that we optimise IT costs with a sharp focus on competitiveness and performance while maintaining our commitment to excellence.This role will require availability to commute to the London office 3X per week and occasional trips to The NetherlandsRequired Skills and ExperienceExperience working in a consultancy.Understanding of end-to-end IT procurement processes - bid preparation, tender management, pre-salesExperience with RFI/RFP/RFQsKey stakeholder managementExcellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills up to senior management level, to get buy-in and commitment from both internal and external stakeholders.Build and maintain a strong network of Senior Stakeholders across the organisation.Self-starter and quick to understand a team’s dynamic.Ability to perform in a complex high-tech corporate and multi-cultural environment.Analyse and translate complex and Analytical dashboards in PowerBI into innovative sourcing solutions.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business portfolio goals, including cost reduction, quality improvement and supplier diversification.Identify, evaluate and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective strategy.Conduct a comprehensive analysis of supplier costs, market trends, and industry benchmarks.Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.Utilise data-driven insights to inform strategic sourcing decisions and actions.Report on the tangible outcomes and value generated from sourcing initiatives.Assess and mitigate risks, including supplier disruptions, delivery quality issues and compliance concerns.Manage a complex network of senior stakeholders, providing guidance, coaching and support to achieve defined business goals.Liaise with Contracting & Procurement counterparts to agree changes in sourcing process, suppliers, performance evaluation and supporting rate-card negotiations. noProactively lead day-to-day engagements with IT business stakeholders (including owning agenda of interactions), follow-through and track all actions and communications for full transparency, to ensure agile and seamless execution of IT sourcing models.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and supplier developments to make informed sourcing decisions.Implement process improvements to enhance sourcing efficiency and effectiveness, such as implementing supplier ecosystems, and innovative initiatives, assessments, benchmarks and market scans based on data analytics.About Aubay UK – Ahead of Innovation!Aubay UK is a recognised InSourcing Partner for client-side deployment delivered across London.
