We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Compliance Analyst to develop and drive the Experian UK&I data governance and data management agenda.We're seeking a skilled Data Compliance Analyst with expertise in GRC and Data Loss Prevention, and Microsoft Defender. As an acquisitive business, we offer a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where your contributions will make a real impact.Key Responsibilities:Provide specialist advice for projects and business change activities to ensure alignment to the Data StandardsBe a key stakeholder in the ongoing development of the UK&I Data Standards assuring alignment to global and regional policy and to evolving changes in the regulatory and legislative landscape.Contribute to the ongoing adoption of the Data Standards by business stakeholders and influence the maturity and accountability of compliance to the Data Standards across the width of the UK&I businessAnalyse identified processing and control activities at a thematic level and working with the Risk & Governance teams to develop remediation plans and help monitor these through to closure.Create and maintain the Controls and Monitoring Assurance plan with clear MI to demonstrate progress, trends and to drive required outcomes.Own and create the governance record keeping improvement plan and the deployment of enhanced operational controls, through changes to Data360 with supporting education and communication.Qualifications:Knowledge of data management best-practice, including data governance, data security, data quality,security, and data loss prevention (DLP) Up-to-date knowledge of policy frameworks and business process management.Knowledge of risk management practices, audit, process, control management, and monitoring best practice.Familiarity with relevant legislation pertaining to Data – e.g., Data Protection legislation.Experience of making sound and far-reaching decisions on major issues, taking responsibility for them and implementing within the business whether in a technical, managerial, advisory or specialist role.Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels; can listen and influence and engage across an organisation with senior leadership.What's in it for you?Competitive Salary: £50,000 per annum.Work-Life Balance: Enjoy half-day Fridays and a flexible 3/2 office split after 3 months.Career Development: Access to continuous learning through courses, coaching, and mentoring.
