Role:
Hospitality Head Chef
Full time, permanent contract
Salary:
c.£36000 per annum plus benefits and perks
Rota:
Working c.40 hours per week
Hospitality runs from 07:00 to 23:00
Morning shift will be 07:00-15:00 or 14:00-late (22:00 / 23:00 finish)
The majority of the work will be on day shifts, you will be working 5 out of 7 days per week
Environment / duties:
Private lunch or dinner service for up to 400
Lunches from 30 covers
Private functions, reunion meetings, weddings, open days and so forth
Mainly school pupil catering
Responsible for managing a team of 7-8 staff
Responsible for menu planning, ordering and stock take
Working alongside a team of 15 Chefs when required

Person spec:
Must be a qualified Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef with min L2 Food Hygiene
Will possess an enhanced DBS clearance
Shall be presentable, professional and experienced in delegation of tasks to the team
Can adapt to different working environments i.e. school catering
Should have a history of working in a busy commercial kitchen such as hotels and fine dining restaurants
Wouldve taken control of stock take, stock control, stock ordering
Might have experience in nurturing, training and developing Junior Chefs (desirable)
May have worked in a similar role as a Shift Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, Chef Manager, Catering Manager and have Cheffing experience also
Will be an excellent communicator with all staff from Kitchen Porter to Exec Chef
