Main job function
- Must be a Graduate in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering
- Have a minimum of 10 years experience in the industry.
- Sales Experience not essential but would be an added advantage.
- Must be prepared to travel in Africa.
- Must be prepared to relocate to Richards Bay
- Be able to effectively communicate at all levels.
- Be fully Computer literate.
- Have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Manufacturing
- Chemical
- Mining
- Steel / Aluminum
- Ability to work and travel independently.
- A drivers License is essential and own reliable vehicle
The successful candidate will be required to perform the following tasks:
- Visit our customers to assist with problem solving, and to identify opportunities where our products are a fit for our customers.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Be actively involved in overseeing manufacturing of products in our workshop, and to assist in ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained and improved.
- Prepare quotations for customers.
- Must be able to understand and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Be able to prepare reports and presentations, and to present these to customers.
- Log all opportunities and trip reports in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
Visit customers locally, as well as limited travel to Mozambique and West Africa
