The Recruitment manager will work closely with our HR recruiter and HR team to manage sourcing, interviewing and recruitment processes to ensure we hire qualified employees to meet our company’s current and future business needs.
Job Description
Key Performance area:
1.To find and attract talent to support our recruiting programs nationally across business units.
Use sourcing tools and engage with recruitment managers where necessary to advertise and recruit potential candidates. Be proactive and use the necessary means to ensure the recruiting department is successful in its operations. The minimum critical experience as mentioned in this profile is being satisfactorily met.
2.Conduct the end-to-end recruitment administration process for assigned positions and make successful placements.
Ensure the recruitment process is being managed and practised in an efficient and effective manner. Candidates are being successfully matched to a job spec and placed within the required business unit. Recruitment was conducted timeously, and all stakeholders agree with the terms of the placement.
Critical experience:
• Proven work experience as a Recruiting Manager/Talent Acquisition in both temporary and permanent staff recruiting.
• Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and HR databases.
• Knowledge and practice of current labour legislations.
• Experience with (phone, teams and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation.
• Familiarity with advertising, social media, and other professional networks to be used to attract suitable candidates.
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Able to manage time, prioritise and team management skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Experience working with HR Professionals within the organization to understand and fill vacancies in a timeous manner.
• As a recruiting manager you will make sure the recruiting strategies used by the team are up to date and help them implement new ones.
• Work closely to advise HR on recruitment according to EE plans and Skills Development requirements.
• Able to analyse and manage data for Recruitment reports submission and forecasting. Track metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting process.
• Knowledgeable on recruitment costs and able to ensure cost effective methods are utilized first.
• Salary negotiation and employee retention skills.
• Experience with talent acquisition/creating talent pools, being proactive in areas identified as critical/scarce talent and forecasting future recruitment requirements.
• Headhunting of senior and/or scarce roles within the business.
Job Requirements
Required Experience:
•Matric.
•Tertiary education in Human Resources ideally Diploma/bachelor's degree in human resources management.
