In this opportunity you’ll join our client’s HR team to manage and execute a high-volume recruitment process. You will be responsible for sourcing and securing top talent for various positions, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all stakeholders involved.
Talent Acquisition Specialist (8-month FTC/Contract)
Location: Southern Suburbs, Cape Town (Hybrid: In-office Tuesday to Thursday; Remote Monday and Friday)
Duration: September 2024 – April 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Rate: Dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and drive the recruitment process for multiple roles, from initial sourcing to final placement.
- Identify and attract high-calibre candidates through innovative direct sourcing strategies.
- Develop and manage talent pipelines to support organisational growth and succession planning.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to align recruitment strategies with role requirements and business needs.
- Implement creative sourcing methods to minimise reliance on external agencies.
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain effective relationships with preferred suppliers to meet diversity and quality criteria.
- Assist in the assessment, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires.
- Contribute to recruitment activities for graduates, interns, and early career professionals.
- Work with internal teams to enhance the Careers website and external recruitment platforms.
- Lead and support various talent acquisition projects as required.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Organisational Psychology or a related field (postgraduate qualification is advantageous)
- Must have recruitment/TA experience within the Asset/Investment Management, Investment Banking or Banking industry.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and/or LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Experience in both in-house and agency recruitment environments ideally.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing the full recruitment lifecycle and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Strong direct sourcing and headhunting skills.
- Proven experience in recruiting across different levels within key business sectors.
