About The Opportunity
As a Mining Solutions Manager, based in our Bryanston Office in Johannesburg, your primary responsibility is to develop a pipeline of opportunities for the Micromine Advance product within the region. The role will be responsible for championing our go-to-market approach with a new offering to Underground Scheduling customers through Proof of Value engagements.
The role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business. This role will be supported by the Advance technical team of developers in technical pre-sales and implementation design and you will need a strong technical capability in scheduling and planning to be able to demonstrate product capabilities to prospective clients.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, AMEE your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting (cold calling), qualifying leads, nurturing prospects, demonstrating solutions, handling objections, and closing deals Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining industry for Micromine Advance
About You
Key skills, experience, and qualifications:
Experience with mine scheduling and planning Experience with Underground mining. Experience with sales/business development, including driving new business would be desirable Experience with giving presentations or public speaking. Strong prospecting and qualification skills. Possess a Mining Engineering or related post-secondary degree. English proficiency. Great customer service ethic and high expectations for quality.
