We are looking for a detail-oriented Academic Liaison Officer to support the Dean's Office. Responsibilities include managing academic operations, handling complaints and investigations, and supporting committee activities. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Requirements
Matric and/ or Qualification Business Administration, Educational Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in academic administration.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and academic management software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and respond to DHET investigations and complaints.
Maintain databases for committee meetings and academic queries.
Provide administrative support to the Dean’s Office.
Serve as secretariat for select committees.
Schedule and coordinate general meetings.
Verify qualifications for external organizations.
Draft correspondence as requested.
Oversee specialized projects.
Assist with graduation verification samples.
Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
